Conditions of Sale

The Folio Society reserves the right to decline any book order without reason or explanation.

The Folio Society reserves the right to make alterations to an advertised book offer or promotion or to withdraw it without prior notice.

If you are not completely satisfied with any book you may return it within four weeks for a replacement, exchange or credit card refund.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Promotional Offers

From time to time The Folio Society runs promotions and offers on selected books. Qualifying offers will either be automatically applied to your order, or you will be instructed on how to redeem it via a voucher code – on your order form, at checkout on the website, or when you place your order by telephone. All promotional offers are subject to the following terms and conditions:

Offers are only valid on the products specified and cannot be used on sale or promotional items which are already discounted, unless otherwise stated.

Offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer unless otherwise stated.

Offers are valid for a limited period of time, as specified in the marketing communication in print or on the website; they cannot be used outside of that period.

Offers are not valid on limited editions (unless otherwise stated) or delivery charges.

If you apply a voucher to an order which exceeds the value of that order, we cannot reimburse the difference.

All orders are subject to stock availability, and we reserve the right to withdraw, amend or extend offers at any time, without prior notice.

The Folio Half Price Sale

The Folio January Sale runs from 16:00 GMT on 2 January 2025 until 23:59 GMT on 11 January 2025 (“Sale Period”).

During the Sale Period, 50% off will be applied to a selection of titles. Discounts are applied automatically at checkout and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Additional flash sale discounts may run during this period. Flash sale stock is strictly limited and available while stocks last.

All offers are subject to availability. Adding an item to your basket does not reserve the item. Items purchased during the sale are eligible for return in accordance with our standard returns policy. We are unable to offer price adjustments on purchases made outside the Sale Period or to apply discounts retrospectively. The Folio Society reserves the right to amend or withdraw any part of the promotion at any time without prior notice.

Birthday Offer

Terms and conditions apply. Offer excludes limited editions, e-Gift Cards and delivery. You must be logged into your account to use the code. Cannot be combined with any other offer. Minimum spend applies. One voucher per customer. Voucher valid for 30 days from date of issue.

Folio e-Gift Cards

Folio e-Gift Cards can only be purchased and redeemed with The Folio Society. Our books are not sold new by any other retailer.

E-Gift Cards are valid for one year from the date of purchase. Any remaining balance will be cancelled after that time.

E-Gift Cards may be purchased and redeemed online or via customer service. They cannot be exchanged for cash and are non-refundable.

Refunds for purchases made with an e-Gift Card and returned to The Folio Society will be placed onto a new e-Gift Card.

The Folio Society is unable to refund lost, stolen or damaged e-Gift Cards and reserves the right to refuse cards suspected of fraud.

Returns and Replacements

If for any reason a book does not meet your expectations, you may return it to us within four weeks for an exchange or refund (excluding postage). Please enclose a note explaining the reason for return along with your order details. We recommend obtaining proof of postage. Please allow up to 14 days for a refund.

Service Promise

We are extremely proud of our books and make every effort to describe them accurately. In the unlikely event that a book arrives damaged or imperfect, please contact our customer service team with photos of the issue. We will provide a replacement or, where necessary, a full refund.
