Lela Harris has also been recognised for her work on The Folio Society's edition of The Color Purple, becoming a runner-up in the Book Cover category.

Raquel Leis Allion, Art Director at The Folio Society, said: ‘I am over the moon for Gérard, it was such a pleasure to work with him and to be a part of his creative process. I love how he portrays the father and son so beautifully and still manages to illustrate the darkness of Cormac McCarthy’s words. This work, alongside Lela’s book cover design for The Color Purple, showcases Folio’s incredible and talented illustrators.’
