Editor's Notes

Only three years on from publication, Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow has established itself as a contemporary classic of the 21st century. A love story that places friendship firmly in the spotlight, this is fiction at its most poignant and enjoyable.

We follow Sadie and Sam, two gifted game developers, as their relationship ebbs and flows over time, and yet always endures. Among it all is a celebration of video games - the way they help us understand the world and each other.

Contained within a holographic slipcase, this special version features a striking cover that places the central characters inside their digital creation Ichigo. The book contains seven vibrant illustrations by artist Manshen Lo, rendered in clean lines and vivid colours to evoke the two-dimensional aesthetics of virtual worlds. A brand new introduction from the author delves into the inspiration for the novel and the aftermath of its publication.
Synopsis

Sam and Sadie meet in a hospital games room and begin building worlds together – some digital, some real. From pixelated playgrounds to million-copy hits, their creative partnership spans decades, fame, grief and friendship. This isn’t a love story, but it is one of the most heartfelt tales of devotion and creativity you’ll ever read. Clever, nostalgic and quietly profound, Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow explores what it means to play – and keep playing – through everything life throws at you.
