Grimms' Fairy Tales Limited Edition is here | Don't miss out! Fewer than 150 remain
Return to the American West for this second instalment in the Border Trilogy. In a harsh and sprawling landscape, a young boy sets out to capture the she-wolf that stalks the land, but he returns from his journeying irrevocably changed. The Crossing is quintessential McCarthy – melancholic, desolate, haunting. With dramatic artwork by series artist Gérard DuBois, this Folio edition distils both the beauty and bleakness of McCarthy's coming of age novel.
Billy Parham sets off into Mexico with a captured wolf and a quiet determination. What follows is a brutal, beautiful odyssey through a landscape shaped by violence and grace. The second novel in McCarthy’s Border Trilogy, The Crossing is a haunting meditation on youth, loss and the unknowable wilderness. Lyrical and raw, it’s the kind of story that leaves a long shadow.
