Editor's Notes

In a quaint little town, in a whimsical old house lives Pippi Longstocking – a fiercely independent girl with a rebellious spirit and a mighty imagination. Whether she's dancing the polka with burglars or stealing the spotlight at the circus, Pippi always marches to the beat of her own drum and has a fabulous time in the process. She's an inspiration to children and grown-ups alike.

We've partnered again with the iconic children's illustrator Sara Ogilvie to create this bright and boisterous edition of Pippi Longstocking. The slipcase features the quirky Villa Villekulla, with its overgrown garden and tall, fruit-laden trees. A die-cut window reveals Pippi inside her home, on a zippy fuchsia and sunny yellow cover, alongside her horse and Mr Nilsson the monkey. Inside, the book is absolutely packed to bursting with colourful illustrations.
Synopsis

She’s stronger than any grown-up, lives with a monkey and keeps gold coins in a suitcase. Pippi Longstocking is an unstoppable force of fun and freedom. With her braids askew and a grin full of mischief, she rewrites the rules of childhood one outrageous adventure at a time. Wild, warm and wickedly funny.
