On 23 April the British Library hosted an evening dedicated to the life and work of Anthony Trollope. A distinguished panel of experts and enthusiasts offered personal reflections in a fascinating discussion chaired by Geordie Greig, Editor of the Mail on Sunday. Acclaimed Trollope biographer Victoria Glendinning and best-selling author Joanna Trollope were joined by actor Edward Fox, who spoke amusingly about his time playing the great man in his one-man show Trollope in Barsetshire.
At the drinks reception hosted by The Trollope Society which followed, guests were given the opportunity to peruse our new limited edition of The Duke’s Children, the first complete version of Trollope’s celebrated novel. We also held a prize draw to win two Trollope titles, published by The Folio Society, The Warden and Barchester Towers. Three winners have been chosen:
Sheila Morris from London Elizabeth Jones from London Prue Baker from Brighton
Congratulations all!
