We want everyone to be able to use our website with ease. Accessibility matters to us. We design our site so people of all abilities can browse, buy and learn about our books.

Our promise

We work to make our website simple to use for everyone. We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the main global standard for accessible websites.

We check our site often, fix issues we find and build accessibility into new updates.

What this covers

This statement applies to all our websites that sell physical books to customers around the world, including the US, Canada, UK, EU and other countries.

It covers browsing, shopping, and contacting us online. It does not apply to the books themselves, which are physical products.

How we support accessibility

We test our site with automated tools and real users. We train our team to design and write in ways that support accessibility.

If you prefer, you can change your device settings to suit your needs, for example to have text read aloud, enlarge fonts or change colours. The W3C’s guide on better web browsing explains how.

Include the page link, your browser or assistive technology, and a short note about what went wrong.

We aim to reply within five working days. If needed, we’ll send you the information another way, such as plain text, large print or audio.

We review accessibility each year and after any major change. As laws and standards evolve, we update our site to stay in line with best practice in the US, Canada, UK, EU and other markets we serve.
