Placing an Order

1. Finding and Purchasing Books

We hope that placing an order with Folio is a fuss-free and enjoyable experience. You can scroll through all of our available titles, collections and available limited editions from the home page of the site. If you are looking for something specific, please click on the ‘magnifying glass’ icon at the top of the page. This will enable you to search our shelves by author, artist or title and is a great way to discover some Folio favourites and hidden gems you might not be aware of.

Clicking on the image of any book should take you to the title’s own dedicated page. Here you can find full production details, a look inside the book and behind the scenes of its design. The stories behind the stories that we love.. Clicking the ‘Add to basket’ button will add the book to your shopping list.

If you have decided which books you would like, clicking the ‘basket’ icon on the home page will show you the contents of your order. Please check carefully that everything looks correct and click ‘Checkout Securely’ to enter your delivery address, preferred delivery service and payment details.

Once you are 100% happy with everything clicking the ‘Pay’ button will secure your order. You should shortly receive an order confirmation from us. If not, please check your ’spam’ or ‘junk’ folders (we promise we’re not spam, but you may need to add The Folio Society to your ‘safe senders’ list when using some email providers.)

Please check that the details on your order confirmation are correct, as our warehouse team have a very small window where they are able to amend any mistakes and, depending when the order has been made, cancelations or alterations may not be possible.

If you encounter any difficulties while placing an order online please contact us by email, or by phone during customer service hours. Our dedicated customer service team are happy to answer any questions you may have. Orders can also be placed by phone, 8am to 10pm (UK time) Monday to Friday, and 9am to 5pm (UK time) on Saturdays and Sundays.

Please note that credit card details should only be entered via our secure website or given via the telephone to one of our customer service team (call recordings are stopped when card details are given). Please do not supply us with your credit or debit card details via email.
