Forgotten your password?
Don’t worry if you’ve forgotten your password. Click the link called ‘Forgotten Password’ below the fields on the right where you would normally enter your username and password.
Fill in the required fields and select submit. We will immediately email you instructions on how to change your password and re-enter the site.
Changing your password
To change your password, select the ‘Your Account’ button at the top right hand side of the page, next to your username.
Type your new password into the fields at the bottom of the page. You must enter your new password in both the 'password' and 'confirm password' panels to make this change. When you are satisfied, click the 'Save details' button. This will automatically update our records.
Tips for username/passwords:
- No two user names can be the same, so do try and make your user name unique. 'jrrtolkien200' is much less likely to have been taken than just 'jrrtolkien' for example.
- The website will tell you if your password is ‘too short’, ‘mediocre’ or ‘very strong’. Please confirm this, and remember it!
- Ideally passwords should be easy to remember, but not too easy to guess. Your password will give you access to the Folio members' area, so you don't want anyone else being able to use it
- Do make a note of your new username or password, as you won't be able to retrieve old versions once the 'update details' button has been clicked.
