The Picture of Dorian Gray

New Folio edition and film adaptation out in September

A new film adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray is due for release in September. Dorian Gray is directed by Oliver Parker and stars Ben Barnes in the lead role and Colin Firth as Lord Henry Wotton, with Ben Chapman as Basil Hallward. Other cast members include Rebecca Hall, Maryam D’Abo, Fiona Shaw, Emilia Fox and Rachel Hurd-Wood as Sybil Vane. Dorian Gray was filmed at Ealing Studios and produced by Oscar nominee Barnaby Thompson, who has previously collaborated with Oliver Parker on An Ideal Husband.
